Ours is a very personal grass roots Foundation, carefully evaluating programs of choice is essential to the success of our recipients.
The inspiration behind our Foundation is for the Legacy of Steve Wolkoff and his service to the local Indy community. For over 50 years Steve was a leading volunteer for the CYO of Indianapolis. At the Catholic Youth Organization, he was an accomplished head football coach. Over his years of service, he received numerous awards and honors including the St John Bosco Medal, CYO's highest recognition for volunteerism. Additionally, in 2001 Steve was presented with the Sagamore of the Wabash, the highest honor a Governor of the state can award an individual for his distinguished service to youth sports. HIs example of compassion and generosity is the spirit of this Legacy going forward.

- We Pledge to continually strive to enhance our local youth sports programs for girls and boys. We will endeavor to create more accessibility to these programs and at the same time create more opportunities for our Indiana youth to experience the joy and value of athletic participation.
